      <image:title>About - Hi, I’m Casey</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a licensed Massage Therapist, Tibetan Singing Bowls Practitioner, the founder and owner of Refine and Balance, wife, mother, veteran, and I live right here in Springfield. I started my professional massage journey nearly a decade ago. My passion for wellness and bodywork started during the time my husband had a shoulder replacement (at 26 years old.) I had a deep desire to help him and the only way I could was to learn anatomy, physiology and kinesiology. That desire for knowledge led me to massage therapy. Since graduating from Virginia Collage back in 2014, I have worked locally at various spas and spent 3 years working alongside a chiropractor. Working there set the stage for where I am now. I have considerable experience and knowledgeable understanding of how injuries, postural habits, lifestyles, disease, physical abnormalities, trauma, PTSD, etc.., impact the body and overall wellness. Not only have I learned through experience and continuing education I also gleaned wisdom from my many clients. I began Refine and Balance to offer massage, bodywork, knowledge and wellness for each distinct person. We are all unique. Not one person is the same. I strive to custom design a treatment plan for each and uniquely different individual to ensure the best outcome. I am always thirsty for knowledge and continue to educate myself in the ever-changing health world. In the future, I plan to learn more about PTSD, trauma, the effects of mental health on the physical body and how to treat these ailments with massage and other wellness practices.</image:caption>
